    Try to get a better GPU like a 750Ti or a 260X/360 at the lowest. The CPU is a good deal.

    Reinstall to start off.
    First remove all the nvidia things from the uninstall program list then reboot then download the newest driver and install that.

    Yeah, only people who don't have one suggest not getting one Mine works great as well.
    Most games actually don't use more than 2 cores and if you don't even have the budget for a good CPU, you're not going to have a GPU that's able to play the games that need a quad core...
    Therefore, I do recommend the G3258. It'll be a slight upgrade from your i3 and overclocking should get it a little farther than that. Get a h81 and upgrade to a non k i5 eventually if you want the best bang per buck.

    My days of looking on craigslist when I get done with classes, searching for something I can use to upgrade my computer, using terms "CPU" and "GPU" have finally paid off! I saw a 960 on craigslist for $100 and at first thought it must be like a scam or something. It only had a stock photo! Then I texted the seller and drove 40 mins to his house and got it! When I was handing him the cash I was worried he would say $100!? I thought I said $200!
    I saw it working in his computer (i7, EVGA PSU, ASUS Z97 Motherboard, STOCK COOLER) then tested it in a friend's when I got back. Sadly I can't install it in my computer because my PSU cables are at home because I didn't think I'd upgrade from my 750 Ti while at college... Thankfully I'll be home for thanksgiving though.
    Why he was selling it for $100 when he could have gotten at least $180, idk!

    It's just batteries getting old... Happens with like every phone. The batteries can be easily replaced in like 10 mins though so people really shouldn't have any reason to buy a new phone just for better battery life.

    Yes, I am in the process of building a new gaming rig to finally delve into the games that have been catching my eye. I am investing in a gaming experience setup and I don't want to play a game that would be frelling awesome on it, when it would look (or maybe not even run) bleh using my current setup that serves as a great platform for old RPG's and maybe WOW and SWTOR.
     
    "Instant gratification" gaming isn't my thing, so I don't mind putting the experience off until I can have it an a more ideal delivery.

    Exactly. I want to play it so it looks good because that's part of the game I want to experience.
     
     
    Since I want to play league about equally I just play that instead so it's not stopping me from having fun.

    Ran hitting something? You could take it apart and see if unplugging the fan fixes it then replace the fan if needed

    If it's only for csgo the g3258 would be perfect actually. Only if streaming would you need a quad core
