only 5m? Wow Google.

Those are some pretty small projects though, not like save the rainforest or anything

At least it's a pretty nice amount and would  probably have a good impact on these charities.

Sig under construction.

Was literally about to say the same thing, it's pathetic. Yes i know it's 5 million which is a lot of money to us, is it to Google? Probably not. It's time more companies actually fix the world's issues instead of contributing to reduce them. I know this is dreamland stuff but think if Microsoft, Apple and Google combined forces the world would be a utopia. Unfortunately profits are the only driving force in this world. But yes 5m is not enough.

My Rig - Intel I7-5820k@ 4ghz| Rampage V Extreme| 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4|RTX 2060 SUPER| Corsair 650D| Corsair HX750| 2TB Samsung 850 EVO| H100i| 3x SF-120's| 1x 240 cooler master Red LED Front intake

Everything I say defaults to include /s

It's way more than you or all of us could chip in...

It's better than nothing, but if you look at how much Google could've donated, then 5m is nothing

They didn't have to donate anything....

I could easily say, look at how much money your parents earn, then the £10 they give to WWF a month is nothing.

But I don't, because at least they're giving something, which is more than can be said for most companies.

Just because you can doesn't mean you logically should. They're a business before everything else. They have services they have to operate, employees they have to pay, lawyers for courts. It's like you have $4,000 total and you donate $10. Sure, you could donate $4000, but you have to remember that you do have to fund and take care of yourself.

None of these appeal to me. Half of these won't do anything (especially the "reimagine the justice system") and the other half doesn't have a high chance of success in today's world.

So might as well vote for the ones that are the least likely to fail outright...

Transform Public Place. (regulations, politics, and a lot of other things can get in the way of this one)
Help Kids through summer. (all depends on the kid...)
Help at-risk kids graduate. (all depends on the kid's willingness to continue)
