I think it goes without saying, but every Valve game. They're primarily a PC developer, and because of that their games work better on the PC than consoles.

Every Elder Scrolls game, too. Because mods. Series also had its start on the PC, and the first two games to this date are still PC exclusives.

Yes it did. Ran fine on my PC. You simply install DSfix and don't use any in-game AA. There were other tweaks that could be done to remove/change the 30fps limit as well.

It has a lot of problems with Windows 8, requiring a deletion of a file. It also required a modification series to make it run proper. Console it ran as is no problem as it was designed for console. Until recently it required GFWL. If a game requires a roundabout series like that then I disqualify it from being better on PC than console.

Everyone that is saying all of them, I completely disagree with you. There are some games out there that are just meant to be played with a controller, with your friends on xBox or PS. An example of this is GTA V, even though you can use a controller on PC, GTA will just always feel right if you're playing it on the couch, with your friends fucking around at the airport.

I always like playing GTA with PC level graphics. In the old days with a PS2 controller knock off, now with a real XBox 360 controller. My friends who played GTA III at 640x480 on PS2 shit bricks when they saw it at 1600x1200 on my PC.

All of them lol.

You can play pc games at higher fps , better graphics and better textures .

Plus graphic mods.

Skyrim is a good example of a game that modded looked 100x better on pc then console.

Certain games though end up being shitty console ports that require way too much tweaking to get it to run stably or just outright don't want to run correctly in the first place. However though, most companies aren't retarded enough to screw up there PC version. Also I love Skyrim with mods.

Then play it on a controller on the couch on a PC. None of what you said is exclusive to console.

FO3, FONV, Oblivion, and Skyrim are the easiest answers to OP's question as far as I am concerned.

#1: Console commands. Nothing like being 200 hours into a Bethesda game and have some random quest-centric NPC become hostile for no reason. On console you can try loading 10 hour old saves to remedy the situation or take 15seconds in ~console to fix it immediately. PC turns legit game breaking bugs into minor inconveniences.

#2:  Mods

#3: Load speeds (with a decent storage device of course)

That is what I think. Bethesda games IMO are vastly more enjoyable to play on PC compared to console.

Connect your wireless controller to your PC, done. Microsoft's Xbox controller is natively supported on Windows, don't know but Sony's PS controller but I've seen them working on PC. And beyond that you can buy ANY controller you ant rather than just a Xbox or PS controller, you can just buy what ever controller you like the most.

You can either use a cord or a $10 bluetooth dongle.  Works for both PS3 and PS4 controllers (original, not 3rd parties).

At least games like Watch Dogs and AC Unity don't run like shit on consoles compared to "console killer" PCs

That is just Ubisoft being bad at making pc ports. Remember Ubisoft is the company that claimed 93%-95% of PC gamers are pirates for stealing their games lol. Also Ubisoft released the patch for AC unity and is holding off for PC port. Plus games on console barely even run games at 1080p above 30fps. As Ubisoft said Watch Dogs runs at 900p@30 for ps4 and 792p@30 for Xbox one. So the frame rates should be smooth with that low of resolution. Ubisoft seems to favor console gamers over pc gamers but that's just my opinion. No offense to you. Just pointing out what Ubisoft is up to.

Second part is not directed at you. Just in general, tired of hearing console gamers say that we need consoles to do well for PC gaming to survive.

http://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2014/04/28/as-global-pc-game-revenue-surpasses-consoles-how-long-should-console-makers-keep-fighting/ Also the fact that PC is surpassing consoles in sale, means us PC gamers no longer need to rely on Console games to advance the market for PC.

Have you even tried comparing them yourself before calling people 100% wrong? Without even having any evidence besides "my friends have been complaining about it all the time"?

I remember playing through this mission when my rig still had an HD 6870, it would constantly dip down to ~15 FPS at 1080p low settings. Turn it down to 720p low settings and you'll see dips down to around 20. It's ridiculous, and I also have it on Xbox 360, where frame rate drops are a lot less noticeable.

That's a bad PC port and that's Ubisoft for you.

I'd say that all things being equal most games are about the same on both. The only reason gaming on PC is better for most of these games is because of the extra horsepower, and that's not always true. The big exception is with games that don't at all work with a controller (most RTS) where the PC dominates and games which I want to play local-multi (racing, fighting, party games etc) where the reverse is true. The time when consoles really win out is when it's an arcade style fighting/racing game with an art style that's not that demanding (Mario Kart and Smash for example).

Yeah, NFS:Most Wanted is a nightmare on a keyboard and is better with a controller. the opposite can be said about titanfall and other FPS

Sure, that's why they added FPS mode so you can aim poorly with console controllers, right?

Nothing is stopping anyone from playing their PC while sitting on the couch, unless your friends don't have PC(in which case that's your problem/fault).

Unless your talking about PCs like my old Win 3.1 dual gameport rig, you can't do proper multiplayer on the 1 screen (jazz jac rabbit holiday hare had 2 player split screen, on a computer from 1992)

NFS II SE rocked with 2 play splitscreen on the PC, and that was when i used an old Ccmpaq with Windows ME and a CRT monitor

But "splitscreen" could work well over 2 monitors, right ?
