Great to know that those world astranged politicians listened to the majority of the citizens...

I hope the votes of the MEPs will be public so I can see which candidates of my country voted in favor of this crap.

 

Sites with memes like 9gag will be geoblocked in the EU that's probably cheaper than fixing whather the EU wants them to fix.

 

Our only hope now is that the plenery and trilogue get rid of this or at least removes article 11 and 13 from the bill.

I am 99% certain that Google, Microsoft et. al. won't do it, but it'd be nice if they all agreed to just turn off all their search-engines and everything until the link-tax thing was repealed. I can guarantee that if they did that, it'd get repealed in a record time.

 

No idea what to do about the even-worse filter-thing, though; that doesn't hurt big, established corporations all that much, but it practically stops any startup/small business from running any service where people can upload anything. That... that really pisses me off.
