Is it ok to leave parts in their original boxes For like 3 months?

As long as they are not in an area with extreme heat, cold or moisture.. Yes.

Well to be fair, I have some old parts that I don't use anymore and never got around to selling that are just sitting in a box. So that kind of situation isn't rare for those of use who built our own computers.

I know someone who was slowly putting together a computer, he didn't seem to have any problems with the parts being in there too long. . .

They can and most likely will explode should they be left on a shelf for longer than 4 days, Be cautious when handling old hardware and never approach a dusty box without a gloves and protective goggles.

sike its fine theyre left in boxes for months before purchase. a few more wont hurt them.
