Don't know if anyone played any tribes games but tribes 2 and tribes ascend are both excellent FPS games and the most competitive gameplay on the PC IMO

I really enjoyed Halo 1&2 (xbox), wished they'd port the whole series over to pc. My only real gripe with it, and a significant part of the game, is the flood. It took me out of the game, I really liked fighting the covenent etc. Because if this, I can't make this my favourite series.

I got into PC gaming with Solider of Fortune 2 took a long break from it came back playing CoD: Black Ops absolutely loved it. But every CoD that has came after it was a let down now all I play is Battlefield.

My favorite 1st person Series is Call of Duty (On console, on PC it's terrible)....

I can't stand Battlefield's damage system, I don't like using 30 bullets to kill a guy, and using 4 RPG's to kill a tank. Just toooo many bullets for me.  I love the 64 player servers, I like the giant maps, and the graphics are fantastic. But I absolutely can't stand the damage system. If they made it a little more realistic Battlefield would easily be at the top of my list.

Red orchestra is my 2nd favorite. I love the realism, I love the damage system. The only things I don't like about Red Orchestra is the Rank system, and I don't like the Class system. And I don't have any friends that play it with me so it gets boring quick. 

All other 1st person shooters I don't care about, Although, Titanfall looks like it can easily surpass all other shooters in my opinion, I can't wait until it comes out

Battlefield is my favorite multiplayer, but Bioshock is my favorite single player out of that list.
