Well, unless Nvidia is making a radical change, they're just making stuff up. We can see the code name; anyone got a listing of the code names for the new Turing Quadro cards? I can't find it anywhere.

It seems that RTX 2080 will be on par or 1% or 2 slower than 1080 TI.

Well they have been trying to move the Titan card away from being consumer oriented to prosumer/workstation, for example, the Titan V. Just an idea though.

There is no such thing as overkill. Create your own circumstances - if 1440p is not enough to challenge GPU, up the antialiasing options or make use of the DSR and play in 4k or at least in 3072x1728.

I might be wrong on that USB C port. I say it's more of a Kensington Lock slot for your GPU!

Nvidia is indeed replacing the SLI fingers with NVlink for this generation on RTX cards and this is indeed the legit PCB and GPU chip TU104 which is the RTX 2080 graphics card...it has an 8+2 power phase VRM and a 6+8 pin PCIE connectors.
