The boxes are as important as the tech itself that came inside that particular box for me !

It usually depends on the tech. If it's something like a set of speakers or a large tv I usually throw it out. 

But stuff like gpu, psu, ssd boxes, I keep those, because I'm going to eventually replace them, and when I do I'd like to repackage them so they're sorta protected, and in case of returns.

For my PC I usually keep most of the boxes such as my motherboard and CPU, the rest I throw out.

gpu boxes i often save just in case i need to rma it or end up selling the gpu to a friend mobo boxes i usually keep for spare parts sata cables psu cables fan extensions and so on

I have the biggest pile of fucking boxes the world has ever seen. Two whole freaking rooms full. It's at the point where it's like if I just leave them the whole world will collapse under their weight then I don't have to worry about it
