Collect them (for aesthetics and if anything needs to be returned or sold. )

Chuck them away (in the recycling bin). I'm the sort of guy who uses something until it breaks, so there's no reselling, and RMA's are too much hassle unless the part has a major problem that prevents function completely.

I've kept most of my boxes for around 4 or 5 months before getting rid of them.

kept them and put useful stuff in them like dead HDD and brackets etc...

ya those dead hard drives seem to always come in handy lol

anyways i tend to save the boxes for a bit but after about a year i start getting tossing the ones i know it would not be worth trying to rma right now all i have is my video card box and my cpu box

Mostly I keep them because i repackage old hardware and when a family member/friend needs a computer i can normally throw one together and get some money outta old tech and make a better than pre-built computer for cheaper.

That's the one box I have kept.  I usually keep them until I know the parts work properly, just in case I can be bothered to do an RMA, but after I have it all working it all goes in the recycling ('cept PSU box).

Depending on part, either toss if small and probably wont need a return, but most store in garage for a year, put smaller boxes in bigger boxes and so forth to save space..Always have done this...

Save them, put stuff in them.
