Actually

 

Professional companies (like Intel, AMD, Nvidia) have 10's or 100's or 1000's of hired guns that have PHD's in public communication.

They would release press releases saying they love everybody including snowflakes and aliens. And you as the consumer wouldnt think its out of the ordinary, because consumers are brainwashed and highly in debt. Its easy to persuade the consumer.

AMD has less to lose as a company with mining than Nvidia, Nvidia makes bank off their ecosystem. Why AMD picked on Nvidia for having a "gamer tax"

We all know that but bad reputation on one side means that the other can take a large majority of sales easily, for example if Amd said ‘miners, miners, miners’ Nvidia could go ‘yeah we are loyal to gamers’

Weeeell, if purely looking at desktops maybe. But Tegras and other Jetsons are a big deal. Kinda blurrs the line.

They go back and forth, AMD makes money off custom boards, but not like Nvidia. Why Microsoft went from Nvidia to AMD, cheaper.

Actually

 

Professional companies (like Intel, AMD, Nvidia) have 10's or 100's or 1000's of hired guns that have PHD's in public communication.

They would release press releases saying they love everybody including snowflakes and aliens. And you as the consumer wouldnt think its out of the ordinary, because consumers are brainwashed and highly in debt. Its easy to persuade the consumer.
