Should we expect a server maintenance vid now?

Kamjam21xx

Why? Forum maintenance is pretty normal.

Cleaning out a server isn't very different from cleaning out your PC. Plus he kind of already made a video where he had to dust them out some time ago.

It's not weird at all. Hosting your own web server opens your network to all sorts of possible vulnerabilities. They don't need to risk it as it'd stop them from being able to continute to produce videos if their network was compromised from their server being onsite. It's common for businesses with websites to not host them onsite.

That reminds me, this is a great place to learn to hack into someones server.

My brother got me into it when i was like 10, so theyve been around a long time.

The forum is hosted in a datacentre somewhere, with a dedicated network connection and DDoS mitigation, which would be a big problem if it was hosted at LMG.

A forum maintenance video would be really dull - just running a couple of scripts and waiting for them to finish. When there's no hardware to change, server maintenance doesn't really make a good video.
