If you have a complaint, concern or question about any moderator action that has been taken against you, please send a PM to me, @Whiskers and/or the moderator in question, and we will gladly discuss it. All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

We'll see. We've been talking about it for about 2 years now. No matter how well we have things lined up and talked about something will always come up and not have answers. 

I think for us, 1st will be most stressful, 2nd will be "worst". We've been fighting her immigration paperwork so the kid is going to be born overseas to travel here as soon as we can get them over.

Yes, it's citizenship by blood because you can be one either by birth (Place) or blood (Family).
If it were a grandchild of a U.S. citizen and the parents weren't citizens themselves that woudn't work.

Interesting fact:

Anyone born outside the borders of a country, such as in international airspace for example can become a citizen of any country in the world, provided their choice country accepts them of course.

I know that because a childhood friend of mine was born on a flight in international airspace and that's what he told me directly.
Now - I'm not privvy to exactly how that works, whether you must declare it at a certain age or whatever (Probrably so) but I do know what I was told.... His parents were coming back to the U.S. from Germany on a flight, his mom went into labor during the flight and the next thing anyone knew - "There he was" and that was over the Atlantic Ocean, well away from any land.

Yes, it counts in that situation.

It has to be at least one of the parents of the child is a citizen, that's where "By Blood" comes into play.
If not, then it doesn't happen.

If one isn't a citizen and is one of the child's biological parents, yet the other is a parent of the child but is also a step-parent to the child, that doesn't count since it's not "By Blood" concerning both parents of the child.

If the child was born on U.S. soil that does count though inspite of the situation of their parents, step-parent or not.

Yes, its more weird than that...

My dads side, my grandma was born in Taiwan and my dad was born there too, She devorced her husband (werid situlation) to a US citizen my dad is a US citizen due to a "technical" adoption granting legal status of citizenship I forget how she got US citizenship but there is a way to do it...
