I've actually since turned off all reaction notifications instead of asking members to halt, since it's a me thing and not them. Upon reflecting, it's unfair for me to ask others to change when it's an easy toggle for me to make. And if anything, it's made me care considerably less about my number of likes on posts I make to be funny or helpful (which is something as a social media user I sometimes fall into the trap of).

Same here, I've turned off reaction notifications and unsubscribed from a few threads, it did make me miss some more important notifications once or twice.
