All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

Honestly, I do that for no real particular reason other than I get tired of looking at my own avatar. 

Not an OCD thing.... just like to switch it up now and then I guess. Keeps self entertained.

I try to go at least a couple few weeks between changes. 

 

This avatar, BTW... I created back in 2006/07. It's been around a bit.

Question for mods, how hard is it to add anti bot spam criteria on the forum? A lot of the bot spam posts I have been seeing recently have been for CBD oil, I was wondering how hard would it be to auto delete or flag a post that contains key words like CBD as well as a link, from an account that was recently created or it's their first or second post? I don't have any knowledge of the backend of forums, so I have not idea how hard something like this would be or if it is even possible.

Those are usually auto-hidden, but we identified an issue where users could see hidden posts and we've reported it to the platform devs :)
