If you have a complaint, concern or question about any moderator action that has been taken against you, please send a PM to me, @Whiskers and/or the moderator in question, and we will gladly discuss it. All complaints about moderation that I have been made aware of have either been completely unfounded or the result of misunderstandings or miscommunication, but if there was a case of moderator abuse then we would consider that to be a serious problem, and deal with it accordingly.   C

Membership legnth doesnt necessarily correlate that moderation came a certain amount of time after however. @iamdarkyoshi has been a member longer than Paul Or MLG, but IIRC he wasnt modded until about two years ago

I guess mortis and Whiskers who are the first few mods. I've seen them with a green badge around 2015 before it turned red in 2017 and became community admins.

 

I think @iamdarkyoshi became a mod during a mod audition posted in 2017. I was trying to find the original thread posted by either Whaler_99 or Windspeed36 but it looks like it's already deleted. It was the mod audition where few of the requirements where along the lines of:

  1. Must be 18 years of age and above
  2. Must have at least 3000 posts

Actually, Crunchy and PCGuy were recruited this year and to be fair, I wasn't a mod for that long - I was recruited during the open application process at the end of August last year along with Sans and Yoshi ;)

Yeah, the thread is gone now. It was Whaler who posted it, the requirements were more complex than that but you're right on those two that you mentioned. Though there are/were exceptions made to the age requirement.

PCGuy and I were recruited on the same day(to my knowledge), so we're basically the youngest out of all the mods.

 

I don't fully know when everybody else was promoted, but I get the feeling Slick might be the oldest. He's definitely done some moderating in the past.

I was a bit bummed that LMG's DBH smerch store no longer carries the "Sleep is for Pussies" design. I want that for a mug which I think is perfect for medical school and to remind me that sleeping is for the wuss. xD

Sleep is definitely necessary especially while studying but instead of eight hours, most med students have less sleep because you have to study everyday because there's an exam every week. Unlike high school and college (mostly), med students are not studying just to pass but because a day will come and the doctor is the only thing between the patient and the grave.
