Actually I cant find any I threw my last one away and now they have gone way up in value!

One day I will find the holy grail of computing: the AMD Athlon 3700+. If I recall its even a golden shade!

Fun fact: the s754 version was clocked 200MHz higher than its s939 brother.

I don't know this model - is it similar to the AMD ? thlon? I don't believe any 775 can reach ? thlon performance.

They're more proprietary and annoying than most other boards.

Thank fuck the board in my OptiPlex 7010 appears to just be a normal mATX board.

I'm so damn lucky that my SE-440BX-2 doesn't have the Dell power connectors. On the plus side, the pads for them+the relevant components are still there so it could be modified to take Dell PSU as well as ATX ones (not that my hands are always steady enough fine soldering-all those SMD resistors+caps....).

I have an old (now-dead) 440BX board from my old Gateway 500GP (or something like that) and I loved it, and it was all standard connectors other than the front panel USB 1.1. I'd like to get another one but I'd much rather get a dual-socket 370 board with AGP and have a reverse sleeper.

ayyyyy I've got a 40GB model in my Presario 2286 (use it for all the games and MIDI's and whatknot since the 4GB Seagate with 3GB actually available for system just ain't big enough). Lil' dude is fast and quiet.

Always liked those trumpet CPU coolers. It's actually a smart design that ensures the CPU cooler gets fresh air.  They need dust filters though... lol

heh My OptiPlex 7010 has one of 'em and when it was sucking air in the CPU would run about 60C or so and the 7570 at 72, but flipping it around basically flips those temps and results in less dust.

 

Only real concern would be the power delivery with super-long-term load, but since its job is a Plex server it barely hits the CPU hard so it's not a problem.
