Starting January 1st, 2021, we will be handing out awards based on new higher folding badge thresholds. These new values have been decided due to the increase of power a GPU can provide; this has made it much easier to achieve badges in recent years. Anyone holding a current badge will be grandfathered in! This means you won't have your badge downgraded after the new thresholds come into effect.    F@H Badge Thresholds In order to be rewarded with the Folding @ Home badge, please

Does anyone else get WU's that finish, but instead of sending, just say 'ready' (while at 100%) and then have to be completed from scratch again?

 

I've never had this before. I've just upgraded my old 7870 to an RX570, and now I've had two of these failed WU's in 5 days (always on GPU slot). GPU is not overclocked either.

i had afew of those on my Titan (not on my 1070 oddly enough)

i switched back to folding beta WU's and i havn't had one since.

Honestly, I wouldn't even know which part of the logs to screenshot. It hasn't done it for a few days now, so I'm going to hope for the best for now, and if it does it again then I'll reassess etc.

Can you cut-and-paste the part included as well as a little below and the portion for the WU just completed from the log into a code block please (enclose it in "["code"]" text ... "[/code"]" without the quotation marks) please?

All she needs now is a proper PSU and I'll have 2 290's into the fold! :D

depending on the OC I can push with these I think they should match a 1070 in PPD or there abouts. I guess time will tell.

That's an interesting motherboard. Have you had it running in another system yet? Or did you just buy it new?

 

I haven't seen any Chinese motherboards in this part of the world yet.

yeah it's a real curious thing! i had it booted up once now but i bought it secondhand so i have no idea where it really came from. 

it's a 2011 socket with an C602 server chipset. also, it has a SATA M.2 slot? never seen a board from this gen with a M.2 slot before.

yeah the value on these boards is quite insane. especially if you factor in the PCIe bandwith you can get on a board that cheap. perfect for budget folding rigs imo!

Yeah, seems like the Chinese really make some wacky combinations, especially related to backwards compatibility of things.
