Time for a new mouse... are deathadders still good?

anoor9000

I got my deathadder right when it came out in 2013 and the middle click button is starting to crap out on me. I love everything about this mouse. Are the new "elite" versions of this mouse still as good as the old 2013 one?

Thanks

The sensor in the mouse if fine, but thre rest of the mouse quailty is pretty poor.  At this price point i'd look else where for a product with more consistent quailty control.

I have been using a Deathadder Chroma since 2014 and I love it. The G502 is probably the better mouse over all, but I like the simplicity of the Deathadder

Razer makes good mice, but that's about it.  Other than that Razer is a meh/crap brand.  Their new mice are fine, but I prefer a Corsair M65 Pro as I love arena shooters.

I've had a different experience. I've had 3 of my 5 Razer mice die. The worst offenders were my DOA Copperhead back in 2009 (the box wasn't even damaged, so it wasn't a shipping problem) and my Diamondback 2015 that died three months after I bought it. Oh, and it felt nothing like an original Copperhead/Diamondback to boot.

But considering my dead mice and the fact that their Blade lineup isn't really faring any better in terms of quality control, from here on out I'm just going to avoid them and buy Corsair or Logitech. I've just been buying Razer because it's what I can grab at my local Best Buy. Lol.

For mice, I'll vouch for the Logitech G502. Best mouse I've ever owned.

Razer Naga for life. The 12 buttons are so useful. For example, I have 10 and 11 keyed to a copy + paste macro and Idk how I would do anything with my life without it. I am a two generation, over half a decade naga fanboy and proud of it.

If you want a direct DA Clones without much problems, look at the Zowie EC series or Hyper X pulsefire.

I've heard  from some people that the DA elite supposedly has better QC, but my source is still using/testing it so I have no idea weather it does it not.
