AMD Won't be livestreaming Siggraph and Vega's launch

Don't count on it. I highly doubt Nvida is going to change its plans for Volta regardless of what AMD does. Nvidia can just drop prices on current cards if AMD manages to actually release something competitive at good prices.

One can hope. I just bought the ftw3 hoping to use the step up program if volta comes out lol, but you're probably right.

yes.

and then it will be 'poor volta' as it too is annihilated by Vega.

that's what AMDs marketing department thinks anyway.

Lol I don't get where the 'poor volta' comes from

1677Mhz Boost on the AIO water one.

Frontier Edition's AIO couldn't even reach 1600Mhz boost without playing with the voltage and power.

So many questions, so little time. AMD has until tomorrow morning to impress me or it's G-Sync Ultrawide and 1080Ti.

I dont think vega is to compete with 1080 Ti. It performs similar to 1080.

If you are looking for ultrawide 100hz gaming, go for 1080 ti.

You guys need to stop saying supposition as real facts though.

Looking at Radeon pro twitter feed, we'll get the video of the event during the next 24 hours after the event, so that's at least that ! :)

So far there is so evidence that it does.. some pre-release synthetic benchmarks and that’s it?

So they are claiming that even that RX Vega in minimum fps will be upto 18% better GTX 1080?

Yes, at least for the games they have tested. You might want to wait for reviewer to have more "accurate" and "reliable" result.

Very disappointing in the price of the Vega 64 AIO card. It's price too high! Especially when it'll be around £600-£650 on launch.

I can get an EVGA GTX 1080Ti SC Black Edition right now for £693.

Oh, and yes, I ordered my "Vega replacement kit just now" Ultrawide G-Sync + 108Ti.

Guess my freesync monitor is becoming the secondary one for chrome and forums.

You mean apart from the performance of the Frontier Edition which performs at near parity on avg FPS with the 1080 when properly undervolted so it doesn't thermal throttle? Along with higher minimums?

Well AMD did say that RX Vega would perform better (in games) than Vega FE
