you need to set it as the default audio input, if you have steelseries sonar or anything like that it fucks with your mic settings all the time

no I do not have the steelseries sonar software

try setting it as the default anyways, its fixed this for me before

Dumb question, but what does the other end of the cable look like (the one that plugs into the PC). Is it a single plug or two plugs? Similarly, is the plug on the PC a combo jack or are Audio in and out split?
