This had better be the real deal. Been wanting so many win8 features for so long but that metro thing pisses me the eff off.

I think I will stick it out with W7 and wait for Steam OS and then side load Steam OS for games. Keep Windows for browsing the web. Unless Steam OS can do just as much as W7 then I will make a complete switch. 

I will probably keep W7 and dual boot Steam OS (might get win 8 to see how it is but still in a separate boot section)

Just upgrade to 8.1 when 8.2 comes out you can just upgrade for free

I don't think that the PC in my signature is capable of doing that. Most probably the RAM would be a bottleneck.

 

And I could run Steam OS off a USB drive too. As a side note I have enough space to install OS's . I might give a try to Win 8 by the end of next week.

i hope this fixes my problems with 8.1 it just randomly black screens on some games, but since the drivers have gotten better it has gotten a bit more bearable

Windows 8.1 and beyond are free for anyone who bought Windows 8. This isn't Apple, Microsoft doesn't charge for service packs.
