No I don't recall of any USB M B rant in the Wan show.

I can remember a WAN show rant about USB 3.0 Micro B. Not one about USB Micro B. In fact I've never heard anyone complain about regular USB Micro B.

I also abhor the USB B Micro and Mini its shit and breaks easily.

The USB C is so much better and sturdier, still breaks but not nearly as easily as the Micro and Mini.

Still need to implement something better but we will see. *shrugs*

My wife breaks her USB B's way to fast, I still have a few that I have have had for almost 10 years now, but I take of my stuff.

Do you buy really cheap cables or whenever your plugging it in and out you're forcing it?

Honestly I don't understand the people who complain about that connector.

I'm not saying it's impossible to break, but...

Me neither. I still have whatever cable came with whatever device I bought and not one of them failed because of the connector. And I'm not gentle with them.

I only had one problem with a mini usb cable where the wire inside of it got cut, so it started to lose connection unless it was straight.
