I've been known to fan boy Microsoft hardware ... I am not it just so happens I like the stuff. Microsoft used to put out some of the best mice and keyboards for gaming before pc gaming became such a thing. I had almost all the Sidewinder stuff that MS put out, it was so nice. To bad though that MS stopped making it though I believe that MS would still have a good product to compete with if they did.

where is the line between being a fan of something and being a fanboy/fangirl ?

If you take every chance you can to bash on something, you're a fanboy/fangirl. I.e. Corsair fanboy crapping on Razer products.

what if i really like Razer and tell people about it every second chance i get but do NOT bash people afterwards should they respond with something like:

"yeah, i prefer corsair, y'know"

not owning any corsair stuff myself i would not be entitled to tell someone about how corsair is inferior to razer in the first place IMO because i simply would not KNOW if it is

I don't fanboy over AMD, but I like them more than Nvidia or Intel, not that I wouldn't buy an Intel or Nvidia product if it was better than an AMD product, I just like them as a company.

I like AMD,

but I also like Intel, just a little less.

nVIDIA not so much good feelings, but their hardware is still great.

I have a lot of Nostalgia for Nintendo, but I have a lot of criticism for them too.

My first smartphone was the iPhone 5c and my second (and current) is the Samsung Galaxy S7. There are a few things I would like to see better from my phone, but so far this is the best smartphone I've ever had (even though it's only my second). Though I will keep my eyes open for other options in the Android market.

Nintendo. Can't help it. Been like that since I was a kid.

I just like how the Switch is kind of a "return to form". I really like the device, despite its shortcomings.

Some brands I love are MSI and huawei although I have a Samsung phone. Now I've been thinking about getting a Nokia 5, if you don't know what it is, it's Nokias new mid range android phone. Reasons for getting it would Atm be the fact that it's got decent specs and is Finnish.

My stuff:

Monoprice for cables and the such. Cheap but far from China quality, even if it's probably manufactured there.

None. If a company brings out a new product that is objectively better than something I already have, there's no reason not to admit it.

None.  I don't see a need to be a fanboy.  It limits me on other products comes out.  What if I was an AMD fanboy and Intel or Nvidia came out with something better or vice versa.

I want to be able to get the best bang for my buck.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

AMD, I've been a shameless fanboy since I was little, my first properly fast pc had an Athlon after switching from an expensive Pentium 4 HT machine which was a POS.

It's okay :-) I've owned a computer since I was 8 and my father purchased one for me back in the mid 2000's. We've always had computers, dad's had a laptop since he could first purchase one and he purchased several desktops in the 90's for his house.  All of these computers were AMD machines except for one which had a pentium or a celeron, can't remember.

Not to be rude but the point of the thread was to see what brands people fanboyed over, to the point where(like me) they will buy anything from the brand.  I understand your point and I'm in agreement lol. This is why I don't own a Google branded laptop because they're simply not good.
