How do people use more than a terabyte

Quite easily if you have music and videos stored on your PC. and not to mention Games (GTA V for example, over 60Gb on its own).

I have like four AAA titles installed and my 500GB SSD is completely full. Each of these games is anywhere from 40-60GB in size.

I have 2TB and I totally need my paycheck the end of this month to get the third 1TB HDD, not enough space.

My OS drive always fills up at least 300GB, due to the games and applications I install on each system, then my external hard drives fill up heaps since I have like 2TB of games and a crap tonne of movies. Blu-ray movies take up ridiculous amounts of space, although I suppose I could compress them.

EDIT: Youtube videos also take up a bunch of space, one of my projects took up 300GB from recording gameplay footage

Uncompressed music rips, blu-ray rips, 3D rendering, very, very large digital work, photographs (especially RAW), butt load of games.

 

I easily eat up a 1TB or more on my poor spare internal storage drive.  That is not counting my two other 3-4 TB externals (hold programs, music, movies, digital work, photos (butt ton of photos).

I personally have 8TB total on my PC for backups, games, files, etc, but only use 5.

If you're in need of a good drive, go for the Toshiba 2TB (I believe they go for 50 USD). Stay away from the 1TB, I've had 6 go down within 4 months.

I will admit i currently have 1.6ish tb of storage (1tb hdd, 525gb + 120gb ssd) and im only using about 300gb of that total, most of it is games lol. I just got them because they were cheap, £80 for the 525gb crucial and £20 for the 120gb kingston, the 1tb i originally got with my pc.
