I am so TRIGGERED right now!

Syphno

Ive waited 2 months to come up with the money for my 'PROJECT STREAMING GAMING BUILD'!

As soon as I got all the money and had a build planned out BAM! Here is RYZEN, ohhhhh you want to build a PC now? that's funny. Oh you want specs? that's funny to! Lets hide the full benchmark specs until the 2nd of march! Now I'm not understanding why are there no pre release benchmarks avail from reviewers? I'm trying to build a great stream build and I'm frustrated of waiting. Should I just get the Mid tier RYZEN and MB and call it a day? My CPU of choice was the 7700K with a Asus prime Z270-AR MB. Is anybody eles getting TRIGGERD?

I am not triggered, I can wait.

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don't just give up.”

It's just how the market works, the 1700x is very promising, you really shouldn't buy anything this week, wait for the next one at least, new data might be released.

The Lord of all Toasters (1920X 1080ti 32GB)

The Toasted Controller (i5 4670, R9 380, 24GB)

The Semi Portable Toastie machine (i7 3612QM (was an i3) intel HD 4000 16GB)'

Bread and Butter Pudding (i7 7700HQ, 1050ti, 16GB)

Pinoutbutter Sandwhich (raspberry pi 3 B)

The Portable Slice of Bread (N270, HAHAHA, 2GB)

Muffinator (C2D E6600, Geforce 8400, 6GB, 8X2TB HDD)

Toastbuster (WIP, should be cool)

loaf and let dough (A printer that doesn't print black ink)

The Cheese Toastie (C2D (of some sort), GTX 760, 3GB, win XP gaming machine)

The Toaster (C2D, intel HD, 4GB, 2X1TB NAS)

Matter of Loaf and death (some old shitty AMD laptop)

windybread (4X E5470, intel HD, 32GB ECC) (use coming soon, maybe)

And more, several more

dude ryzen doesn't come out till tomorrow hence why there hasn't been any benchmark coverage, people literally aren't allowed to release the benchmarks until tomorrow because of the embargo agreement that they all probably had to sign, LTT will probably have a video on it early tomorrow so just chill out :)

And people do, because if they bought now, they will get theire cpu early, and some people want to be first ... If I had some money to spend  I would buy a 1700 with the info they gave, because even if it's not as good as expected, it totally woth it

I get the sentiment, but try to chillout just a little bit. I bet anything there are several Ryzen benchmark videos scheduled to go public at exactly 12:00 am in the respective timezone of several posters. The wait is less than 24 hours now before user reviews are in.

Well you are actually right because we are talking about CPU here so not much to go wrong. I did just that back when 6 core phenoms were new. Some people may remember back then AMD was playing similar game with prices. I still like that cpu.. it's pretty old but still plays games i need. For it's age i can call it a good cpu even today think you would agree with me.

Have you looked at the new pricing for gtx 1080s? nVidia dropped its MSRP to $499 when they announced the 1080ti yesterday. You should see partners selling the 1080 for mid $400's now maybe low $400's with a good deal and a MIR. Maybe consider a 1080 and cancel the 1070 order if you haven't looked into it yet.

Just checked amazon, 1080's are going for $550-$600. Appears the prices haven't taken effect as of yet.

I7-7700k@5.1ghz + 1080ti @ 2050mhz + 32gbs Ram + 2TB SSD = CSGO

i7-6700k@4.9ghz + 980ti @ 1501mhz + 16gbs Ram + 1 TB SSD = Backup

i7-3770k@4.8ghz + 680 4gb + 32gbs Ram + 500gb SSD = Retired/Office work

I mean, it's only till tomorrow, no I'm not triggered.  I can patiently wait.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

You've waited 2 months, wouldn't hurt to wait another week or so! I would to see whats the best system you can get for your money :) As if AMD's new offerings are as good as they seam to be then you could afford a better GPU or a better case or more RAM or a bigger SSD.

I'd say this is a blessing, I'd be triggered if I just BOUGHT everything and then all this happened.

Main Machine:  16 inch MacBook Pro (2021), Apple M1 Pro (10 CPU, 16 GPU Core), 512GB SDD, 16GB RAM
