I've got some questions about butterfly knives.

1. Are they legal in Colorado

2. Where can I buy one

1. Apparently they are in a gray area. Technically yes but make sure the blade is less than 3.5".

2. Amazon for online options, not sure about physical stores.

They aren't exactly the most legal thing so that makes sense. Ebay?

If you looking for knives, especially those, best to go to store fronts online that focus on that type of item.

KnifeCenter has a nice selection.

You can get a blade larger than the whatever " but just keep it at home

If you want to first do it as a hobby, get yourself a nice trainers. Then move on to the blade.

i wish i could have a nice balisong but its nearly impossible to get one imported here

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

I've bought knives from BladeHQ before, they've got balisongs. I've heard good things about Benchmade ones.

They're a type of knife where the minimum price for a 'decent' one is uncharacteristically high, though, so maybe don't start out with an actual knife.

I second BladeHQ.com I've bought a few knives from them in the past.

If you're looking for a decent knife, I would look at Benchmades, they aren't cheap, but they make good stuff.

I love american logic that´s why their murder rate is so high

This is incredibly insightful. /Sarcasm

In 2015, Brazil had a murder rate of 25.2 per 100,000 population

In 2015 USA had a murder rate of 4.9 murders per 100,000 people.  ranking 96th

Yeah, Way to go Teddy.

Well you have to compare the USA with other countries from the same level of development. Brazil is behind in every way. So please compare apples with apples.

The USA has the highest murder rate of all 34 OECD countries according to the business insider....

I do? why is that?

Brazil has weapons, America does also.

Brazil has computers, Ditto.

Brazil has police, ditto

Brazil has a military, ditto

Brazil has commerce, ditto

Brazil has a government, ditto.

Brazil has land, ditto.

People inhabit both.

They seem identical to me. So there is no need to compare from the OECD countries in order to provide my original point. Thanks though.

Murder rates are not created by guns. Simple as that.

Are there knife ranges?

Didn't think so.

Do knifes cost you thousands in ammo? That's not important.

Just because a country is a member of the OECD does not mean they are all on a similar level of development.

For instance mexico is an OECD member and their murder rate is 15.7.

Also Members are Latvia (rate of 3.9), Turkey (4.3)

Compared to the U.S rate of 3.9

Sources
List of members (http://www.oecd.org/about/membersandpartners/list-oecd-member-countries.htm)

Intentional homicide stats (http://www.unodc.org/)

Furthermore being a member of OECD is voluntary basis and while brazil has not sought entry they have sought, and gained, a "working relationship" which has given them a standing invitation on a ministerial level to all OECD meetings.

Ok i agree with your point that OECD isnt that suitable for comparison. Tho i think a better comaprison would be with sweden, japan, australia, Germany, spain, UK....

I am no american so i can´t saw how hoften a gun is used for sporting events compared to using it as a weapon.
