Since LMG produces quite a bit of audiophile content, I am surprised they have never tested the waters with car audio, such as explaining different speaker sizes and what they do / cover, how locations effect sound, how to install them, ect, as basic car audio (Replacing stock speakers and stereo) is rather basic and easy to replicate, especially on older cars (2000's), but can be harder or not (as) possible on newer cars, viewers could actually do, unlike a lot of complains about "DIY" or other "tutorial" videos, are not exactly replicate to an average viewer. Basic car audio is also very affordable, even nicer stereos (or radio, whatever you want to refer to it as), Subs are sometimes also included in cars, usually newer, which can be replaced as well. Amps, eqs, guage wiring, mounting a sub, grounding, ect, can be saved for more advanced videos or tutorials.

Because car audio has snobbery from all sides, and unless a channel's foundation is in certain aspects of car audio, chances are that fanboying will be more rampant than AMD v Intel/NVidia and Windows v Mac.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

While I do believe they do enjoy audio quite a bit, viewing their related content leads me to believe they are more about the experience rather than the engineering of it all.

Replacing / changing speakers is relatively the same from vehicle to vehicle. The only different being, sometimes, a proprietary adapter the STOCK SPEAKERS, if you are going aftermarket, they generally all use the same interface, positive / negative terminals.

Only thing that really can be "different" is speaker size for cars, which is just the manufactures choice, and can be modified using basic tools, but it is easier to just drop in the same size as factory.

Because it is most certainly not the content type for the target audience, most of whom depending on their country, can't hold a drivers license.

Most of their "audiophile" reviews are of headsets which are a computer peripheral.

The tutorials and diy stuff they do isn't really for practicallity, but hey look at what we can do, there are a lot of people who them try to replicate them though, hundreds of people probabbly bought Unraid to try the 2 gamers 1 cpu video.

Most people own a computer who watch LTT so doing computer DIY stuff is somewhat doable for most viewers.

Replacing speakers on a car is "easy" go work with a German car and tell me how it goes, for my car I need a 2nd person to put the door panel back on, not relatively "easy" nor a simple process.

I have been in the mobile audio field for over 20 years now. Doing everything from R&D to owning my own shop for a majority of that time.

There are a few reasons why LTT will not likely ever review "car audio".

1. They do not posses the proper tools to do any testing.

2. They do not have the knowledge bases required for reviews or testing.

3. Since they are not known in that industry, it would not do any manufacturer any good to use it for marketing purposes.

The audio world has basically 4 variations of end users.

1. SPL These guys spend massive amounts of money to set records, do hair tricks, and win trophies. They do not need anyone to review products in order to make their purchases.

2. SQ basically the same as SPL but pure audiophile setups..also do not need/want reviews

3. Typical car show..flash in the pan style installs only care about the name of the product not the performance of it.

4. You basic user. They will buy their product at Best Buy. They won't care enough to worry about a review and just want to impress their friends.. also very cheap most of the time.

Certain things... such as in-dash touch screen's with a HDMI port using a compute Stick, or running a NES Classic off of it, or wire in a NUC and hotspot to get internet. But that could basically be covered in one video.

The only thing I could see him doing in a car audio aspect is making a car computer.

They simply don't have the know how to do a proper review. That, and as others have said, most cars these days aren't upgrade friendly. Which actually could be a positive as their audience is more likely to go for older vehicles anyway.

Their phone reviews are painful enough to watch. Their more "my personal opinion" rather than proper reviews.
