I see... Pretty surprised since the review model from Hardocp used hynix. Still 399.99 for a 980 Ti with Samsung memory? Who isn't pleased? xD

I think it happened like around x-mas time if I remember right. 

But yeah depending on when HardOCP did their review, if it was before then, it'd have Hynix.

ive had a few of my reference pcb 980ti's with samsung memory (older cards at that)

the current list of dead cards is as follows 2 evga gtx 980ti acx 2.0 , 1 evga gtx 980 acx 2.0 1600mhz core 2100mhz ram golden chip card ... failed hardcore , 1 290x that caught fire , 1 hd 7950 .

Did you try to OC it more?

I have GTX 1070 with power and temp limit to max.

Core +200MHz

Memory +500MHz.

You need to include a screenshot of GPU-Z with your results. Also, the test needs to be run at 8xAA, not 2x.

 

Settings should be this for anything over 1080p:
API:               DX11
Quality:         Ultra
Stereo 3D:    Disabled
Monitors:      Single 
AA:               x8
Full Screen: Yes

I'm glad we've got you running the show.  I hardly ever look at peoples' settings.  Maybe I'm just too busy trying to figure out my own.  Either way, good eye.

That's the way it should be :).  If you can get 60fps in a benchmark at 4k with a pair of mid range cards then the benchmark is not hard enough.

I would suggest disabling two cores and ht,  and running your fastest cores at 4.9 Ghz or so.

Are there some setting to change for 1080 and 1440? It's like I'm hitting a wall at 120fps. My gpu temps is only at 66 Celsius, and  the cards were at 80% power

nvidia control panels settings. high performance and vsync off.
