you cant run 3400 or 3600mhz on X99, tried on RVE and SOC Champion.

3200 is best, allows 100 bclk. no silly dividers

I just had 64 GB of TridentZ 3200 c14 running on x99 at 3400 with a 6950x.  They ran fine at 3400 with the 3200's timings.

above the average IMC, I've had 2 5820k's and neither could do it.

both being binned.

3400 CL14 my ass, unless you're nearly killing your IMC with vccsa.

most effiency memory for getting phat scores on X99 is 3000 CL11 or 3200 cl12 anyway

enjoy doing xoc with a wonky divider.

I would agree that there are better memory configurations for x99, but for you to tell someone that it can't happen when you have no first hand experience is nothing short of comical!  What was the best that you could do with the 6950x?

3290 cl11 on cold

It's just stupid to buy a 3400 XMP kit, its completely pointless.

3200 will give best 24/7 stability due to 100mhz bclk

Agreed, which is exactly what I run with my 5960x.

Bud, with the amount of dead cards you have listed in your signature combined with a degrading CPU, I'm beginning to wonder what you've got going on over there.

Well this 780 Lightning sucks ass.

I figured out what my issues were with the throttling, the afterburner skin I was using didn't have power target % and I never noticed lol.

So the card when it's not throttling, literally needs ~1.4v to run valley at 1345 mhz core whilst being 30c or so load.  Pathetic IMO!

This was like 1.41v under load.. For only a measly 1345 mhz.  Tried higher all the way up to like 1.55v, but still crashes.   I guess I got a shitter.

Thank you, thank you. Now I just need to overtake your 2nd place spot!

I don't think I can pick up 6fps more without different hardware. I can try flashing the 980 Ti's so they accept more voltage possibly?
