I dint mean to say that AMD's suck. its just that a ton of people on the list are using titans and Ti's. If the chart was filled with 290 and 290x's then I would have said "Damn them 290 and 290x's" I hope I clarified my self :)

You really need a socket 2011 cpu to get the most out those cards. CPU's going to be bottlenecking

That guy is on a phase change cooler setup, hardly comparable to water cooling. He is also using a highly optimized bios and software tools that allow much more voltage than any titan at the moment.

i haven't seen any titans beat that though. your clocks aren't very far off his. its the cpu that is the big difference

Ya, I have seen some golden 780 Ti Classifieds on OCN as well. My cards deserve a better CPU though lol, I got a 4770k at 4.5 GHz which was a quick 30 min overclock. All my components were run for the first time yesterday so they all need optimization.

you could do with a higher oc on that 4770k. around 5ghz would probably do the trick, its going to be impossible to find one that will do that though

Ya, I will get that 4770k as high as possible up to 1.3V- no more than that. The GPUs are also not fully overclocked yet, but 1500 MHz core on normal water cooling already is ridiculous.

its the memory that is most important in this benchmark. once you get over the 2000 mark then you will be miles ahead because barely and ram can go that fast.

Got an improvement already, please ignore that earlier submission as my clocks were read wrongly:

VSG

EVGA 780 Ti Classified Kingpin Edition x 2

1250 MHz core/1900 MHz memory

FPS 139.5

Score 5835

You should be ableto go much further than that because even slick got 1333mhz on air, also most classys get a higher core, it might be holding that super fast ram back.

I can go much higher on the core if I want- I got 1452 core stable at 1.212V itself. The combo of core and memory work together and till I get my DMM I won't push the voltage too high.

In that example above, the core speed was before any boost. I absolutely hate boost since it is ambigous and out of my control. So I am also waiting for skyn3t to come up with a non boost bios.

Anyway, I got 140.5 FPS yesterday with a bit more fiddling but today I need to overclock the CPU and ram before going back to the GPUs.

Does the table still get updated ??? I'd be willing to volunteer looking after Bench tables.
