If I can get a modded bios for my 980 Ti that can allow me to pull more power to the card, and go with this ghetto custom loop I'm planning I might see if I can't get my 980 Ti to 1600+Mhz on the core and see how far I can push my memory.

sweet, have a matching pair of evga gtx 460's and a asus gtx 580 too!

that 580 has my interest for sure I've been dying to get my hands on one. Its a Blower or DCUII card?

970 Arrived early, which was nice, and also has Samsung chips, which is even better!

 

Overclocked scores coming soon, Basic will improve when I can be bothered to push my CPU further

I have never really pushed this card ether only played diablo 3 with foe the most part, with out any OC.

I looked around seems to cap out at 1.07v or something around there. Otherwise with a BIOS mod to 1.212v it will push 900MHz plus on the core.

1582MHz boost with the slider at 1.25v, memory shits a brick around +650 but all in all, pretty happy so far. Need to run this on my benchmarking install and see how much further 1.3v will get me.

Thats all fun and everything, but 780 Classy will come back to knock you down if you beat the single GPU score also the 770 SLI had only 50% utilization when it was being benched :P

If I didn't degrade my i5 so much, I'd have had it beat by now. All I need is a good clocking i5 or i7 and then I could pull out a bit of a lead on that 770, average load through the test was 45% but early on at one scene it did hit 90%.

 

Bring the 780 Classy on, not enough cards high up on Basic :P

Trust me I'm surprised my 4770k still does 4.2GHz I've hit it with 1.78v on air for benching so I know about degradation.

Trust me I'm surprised my 4770k still does 4.2GHz I've hit it with 1.78v on air for benching so I know about degradation.

I'm tempted to take off the vcore limit for a 4.8 Valley run, but it's not worth it, I like having 4.4 under 1.3v

 

Next time I do a build for a friend with an i5 in it, I might have to go seeing what that can do, but that won't be for a while.
