Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

I need to learn how to oc stuff without automatic mode. as in manually oc'ing, i'll probably get much better temps and less necessary voltage with same stability. It's just a learning curve it seems, and i just spent over 2 grand building this so i dont want to screw it up

http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/41234-intel-haswell-4670k-4770k-overclocking-guide/

Even though it says 4770K in the title that same steps apply. Guide by @ProKoN if there's any trouble you can leave a post in that OCing Haswell thread.

basically. Maybe try experimenting with cache speeds as well.

so apparently cpu has an effect on this, i boosted my 24/7 4.4ghz up to 4.8 and i got this

find your ABSOLUTE MAX GPU overclock then do CPU.

i think i'm done till i learn more lol, just figured i'd join you guys today, i was googling what's a good valley benchmark and this site came up so i joined and thats what got me to this lol. lots of research and forum hopping left to learn how to use my gpu and cpu correctly, but I think overall I chose decent equipment. Would rather have 2 980's in sli and a custom water loop with a formula instead of this hero7 but other than that i feel good about it.

How did I do? +25mv and +25 power limit, this is my 24/7 overclock. I can get 1150+ with much higher voltage but I don't want to submit non-24/7 OC's.

Whenever I overclocked my memory to 1500, my score went down by nearly 100 points, do you know why?

Maybe the memory is overheating and the voltage controller is throttling the voltage to the memory.

Got quite a bit higher after I realized I don't need to be a pussy with the voltage/power limits (yea +63 is low, but the scaling past that is really bad on my card). I also figured out my issue which was I need to set my power limit to 50 in CCC every time I change a setting in MSI Afterburner otherwise my core clock fluctuates after a certain point for some reason.

This score beats a lot of 970's on the spreadsheet, is Valley AMD sided or something?

Nah AMD scales a hell of alot better when the morey is overclocked when compaired to Nvidia GPU's plus Maxwell struggles in Valley.

Benched 4k because of boredom and came out with this, pleasant surprise since I was expecting far lower, but I guess I'll stick to only Fallout at 4k for now.

Well uhh... This gpu has a fucking mind of it's own, it originally would not do 1MHz more on the memory, but now it maxes the slider (5.3GHz effective) and I'm planning on flashing a new vBIOs tomorrow and continuing on the memory, and the core originally wouldn't hit anything about 1090, but now it does 1140 as it's max, and I used gpu tweak to max the voltage slider then used afterburner for the rest since I hate GPU Tweak. (1.224v if you are that curious)

Well, @Darkman told me that my 480 score wasn't in the spreadsheet! :(

Intel Pentium G3258 @ 4.6GHz/1.26v (it does NOT bottleneck this card in the benchmark at all)
Nvidia GTX 480 Engineering Sample 1.5GB, 650MHz Core, 1600MHz RAM
23.3
975
1080p Extreme HD

Just "acquire" one just for some bench-marking fun.
