Unigine Valley Benchmark Scores Thread + SUPERPOSITION ***Over 1000 Submissions!***

Jumper118

Settings are Core @ 1228 + 90 from stock.

Memory @ 7388  + 150 from stock.

Zotac GTX 770 4gb Vram.

you need a screenshot of gpuz and to do the correct benchmark. ;)

Alright I think I pushed my 980's as far as they will go on air haha. This is my update and final VB so please update me on the spreadsheet :)

the reason why i haven't updated the spreadsheet is because the new forum night theme is annoying and i can't see some of the text unless i highlight it, which is very annoying. i also really dont like the front of my notifications, for some reason i find them much harder to read quickly.  :(

My GT 440 from Asus. :D

OC'ed aswell :P:D

you need to run the basic or extreme HD preset please

Plan to upgrade once the 390's come out then I will decide what path I will go next.  Titan X or 390X.  Of course in SLI

970's are great for the price. You can't beat them for the price either.

i've oc'ed them as far as i can on the limits they come which, but i have never tried modding the bios. the problem is that i'm too impatient to read any guides, even though i know where they are. i would like to practice on my 7970 first as it has dual bios, but gpu overclocking just doesn't do it for me. my gpus just sit there folding most of the time.

Even though my driver crashed in firestrike (which makes all the other benchmarks slow) ran valley and my card consumed 453W @1.325V 1555MHz 94C.

Nice going drivers, nice going.

End result was only 2K - silly drivers.

My DMM arrived today so I went ahead and pulled my card apart looking for the voltage ICs, couldn't find the one for the memory and the core is on the back of the card, doh! Still took the oppertunity to get some pictures of the card, which are gonna get thrown up if anyone wants to see them, so hopefully that'll be worth the temp increase from not re-doing the thermal paste.

But now I've got an issue simply because I'm dumb. I'm guessing the resistance is in just Ohms (200 setting on a DMM) because I only got a reading of around 16 peak, meaning I'd need a 320 Ohm trimpot, but that seems really low unless I measured something wrong. Anyone got any ideas?

Okay Titan X SLI runs on air and boosts up to max 1419MHz. In 3D Mark even up to 1431MHz. My new watercoolers are on order and I will see better results with performance watercooling.

But these cards are beasts!

The driver isn´t really good right now... crashes evne with low OCs. We will see much higher benchmark results in 2-3 months but I guess I can live with it for now ;). Biggest challenge for me is to get everything tested and mod a good BIOS that I´m ready for the high performance custom water cooling :D.

EDIT: Here´s the WQHD result.

That 1080p score shows really good how bad Unigine Valley needs to get an update... but it´s enough for now ;).

Well I don´t really know why it screwed with the resolution here I will rerun that again. I had some issues in the first place to get the driver running in SLI and messed around with sliders just quick and dirty.

All clock and ram speeds are the same in all benchmarks. I had to run 3D Mark as well so no time to do fine tuning. Then Performance-PC called me and told me that the gold plated reservoirs that I ordered were scratched and if I´d go with the matte black instead. A really busy hardware day for me. Besides that OC Beast (my highend machine) looks trerrible right now. A wild mix of different colored tubing... I just needed to get it going and benchmark stable hehe.

I do not know what the deal here is, why I can´t get Valley run properly on neither of my machines in 1080p... but honestly even in 3D Mark is WQHD and 4K more important to me than 1080p. For me that was 2009. We have 2015 and I go for 4K :).

Look in 3D Mark please for final words and conclusion on those cards and my PC.

EDIT: I see 8Pack uses 2 R9 295x2... that´s a 4 way CF ...

it was quad cf at stock . the reason he can get such a high score is because the cpu is the bottleneck at 1080p as valley only uses 1 core and he was using a 4770K at over 6ghz. i agree that 1080p issn't really the target for some people any more, i dont really care for 1080p much tbh.

I only went from 1024x768 to 1080p at the start of last year, and its already irrelevant? :(
