i do have some really minor issues with the series, though. like the colors are a little too saturated to me. not a huge deal, and this could be the 4K HDR filming.

Some bits of the episode were really really cringey. Coming from an American, it makes me cringe to see such stereotypes being played out. Also the Stig Not The Stig But The American sucks penis. I'm sure he's a great driver but the whole communist storyline will get stale.

It's not the stereotype but the way it's played out. A lot of the studio bits were choppy and kinda meh. Also agree with The America. Hopefully he drives off an aircraft carrier as well.

I liked it. I liked this 1 episode more than the whole last season of Top Gear. 

But I wouldn't say that the production is years better than BBC. The last 2 season or so of TG when the trio was hosting were (almost) on pair with GT. But I'd have to see a proper Special/Road Trip to compare them, that is the trickiest part to film imo.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

I will be honest I watched the intro twice, it was my favorite part of the show, I personally thought that the whole The American thing was a little to drawn out, it was funny the first few jokes then it got repetitive

I think after the first couple episodes or first season for that matter things will be more tuned. As of now it is perfectly fine with me. I love all the camera shots with high speed, smoke, sparks, and so on.

The thing I noticed is that this first episode actually felt a little scripted (the way they did the tests on cars, the way they made their one hit remarks on each race lap, some of the reactions and specially when they were in the tent). I know Top Gear was very well scripted as well, but I never felt the need to point it out because it felt real. This first episode did not feel like that, and some of the things like the celebrity spot, and the professional racing driver bits were very disappointing, also the naming on the track were bad as well. 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.
