Oh boy, the first computer I used, the first one I used exclusively, and the first one I consider mine are 3 different computers.

This one I am using right now, the one that I built, is the first one I really consider my own.

Pretty sure it was this one http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-HP-Compaq-Presario-CQ56-Notebook.42285.0.html

Got it for over $900, today, I can see it was a ripoff.  2GB of RAM, 1 core, 220GB HDD.  It worked for like 5 years but boy it was slow.   I got it back in 2011.

Custom built AMD K6-III Machine

500mhz
64mb RAM

Voodoo4

Win98 SE

Was later replaced in 2003 with a custom built Pentium III 1.0ghz machine with an ATI All-in-wonder 9000 which we ACTUALLY DID USE for TV

Eric S. Raymond used an E6600 from 2005 until 12/30/14 or open source software creation. Raw data computations in excess of 18GB each. Core 2 Duos still have tons of life left, my friend.

I am not sure of the brand of computer that my grandparents had when I was four, but it was basically mine and i count it as my first computer. I am only able to recall that it was off white (which tells you nothing) and ran Windows 95 (and of course i remember the games).

The first computer I was to ever use however ran Windows 98 and had a pentium 3 in it, I think? My mind doesn't stretch that far back i'm sorry if the specs don't match the OS or whatever, all I can say is that it was very old and I used it for Word and Paint lol.

Something along the lines of this. I know it was Dell, it was from the late 90s, and it was a blast. Ran Pajama Sam, Spy Fox, and Lego Island 1 like it was nobodies business.

I thought I could post that I had the oldest Mac as my first computer, but Seed beat me to it. I was given a Mac SE with 1MB of RAM and a 20MB SCSI hard drive. It ran OS 6.0.2 at first, and then updated to 7.1 after I upgraded the RAM to 2.5MB. That little bugger could run anything that I threw at it. Wireframe 3D, Pagemaker, you name it.

The first computer I could say was mine would be the Acer Aspire M1641. It had a Pentium e2200(2.2Ghz), 2Gb DDR2 Ram, a 160Gb Western Digital POS drive(it was lower than the WDBlue, which is a much better drive), and a sweet but loud "funnel ram" cpu heatsink. I started off with a 66mhz pentium machine, but that was more of a "family computer" than something that was just mine.

First PC we ever got was some horrid HP machine running Win ME - went back under warranty a few times in the first year and was general rubbish.

Next system was my mum's new custom built system back when XP was just released, had a whopping great big 120GB HDD, 512MB RAM, P4 3.06GHz and a Radeon X300se. Thing was a beast and played everything I could throw at it.

After that came my first own personal PC which consisted of parts of these systems when they got replaced in 2006-7. Was a good little beast.

ha lol my mom has the same gpu in her 2005 dell

My Cheap But Good Rig: I7-3770s, Intel Motherboard (actually made by intel), 16gb DDR3, Nvidia Gtx 1070, 250gb Samsung 850 EVO SSD, 750gb HDD, Evga 500 BR power supply
