Nvidia cards have problems with Halo 5 forge.

Won't be long before patched/driver fix's are available surely. I hope so.....

Bad PR is bad PR. It's something that when easily fixed, you do so... right?

They took a card that typically out Prices and out performs AMD so yeah its fair  Though the sample size should be bigger on both sides only 1 amd Card? 

 

Edit the OP seems to be wrong though its a 460 Which Gets crushed by a 1060 and is more similar to the other cards he is comparing

my laptop nvidia card isnt detected so i have to manually switch to my nvidia card every time i launch halo otherwise it runs on integrated

this issue is probably due to Tiled rasterization technique used in Maxwell and Pascal. AMD,Intel and Nvidia 700 series and earlier uses a "immediate mode" rasterizer.

 

Due to how the tiling works, and due to compression artifacts, this may explain some of the issues.

Does the gtx 780 or other kepler gpus have this issue?

if not it could be caused by the tile based rasterization in maxwell and pascal

Dell was having a $600 off sale for the fully specced out model, so I decided to get it :P

 

-Crapbook

Fully specced out early 2013 Macbook "pro" with gt 650m and constant 105c temperature on the CPU (GPU is 80-90C) when doing anything intensive...

A 2013 laptop with a regular sized battery still has better battery life than a 2017 laptop with a massive battery! I think this is a testament to apple's ability at making laptops, or maybe how little CPU technology has improved even 4+ years later (at least, until the recent introduction of 15W 4 core CPUs). Anyway, I'm never going to get a 35W CPU laptop again unless battery technology becomes ~5x better than as it is in 2018.

Apple knows how to make proper consumer-grade laptops (they don't know how to make pro laptops though). I guess this mostly software power efficiency related, but getting a mac makes perfect sense if you want a portable/powerful laptop that can do anything you want it to with great battery life.

LOL WHAT?!? AMD is 12_0, Nvidia is 12_1... and that's only relating to feature sets of DX12... both are DX12 compatible as they conform to the minimum of 11_0 and 11_1

Its not even recognized as a game by FRAPS btw, so no way to know FPS other than seeing the lagg, which is surprising how this guys got its fps lol. Also the 750 Ti running at 60fps max settings? I even drop below that with 512 textures, unless that 750 Ti has 4GB of VRAM.

What card are you running? I can run the 2048 size textures fine on my 7850.

And for it not being a game, it's an application on the Universal Windows Platform. It's not a typical Windows program.
