Virtual maches are the only way to give multi users on one pc with a descrete gpu on each. 

 

He also uses kvm, not vmware.

 

Also multi uses computers have been a thing since the 60's

UnRaid has much more options though and lets you allocate resources (GPU 1 for VM 1 and GPU 2 for VM 2) it also allows you to allocate CPU cores.

 

My school uses something like that though and it's sh*t.

I was actually looking for an BEtter way to multiseat on my computer and this unraid looks amazing, thanks alot. i aint trolling tho i'Ve seen so many ppl using  Emultor but its completly useless since multiseat exist.

 

Wanted to sahre it.

Also, at a glance it looks like it could not spread the horsepower needed for a gaming system because of the way it uses the same GPU for every instance..

Okay... VMWare isn't useless due to multiseat though, what if you wanted to run Linux or something inside of Windows (like I do)

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Virtualization software, be it Unraid, VMware, or whatever it is you're backing, all take a performance hit. Due to Virtualization instructions in the cpu, this performance hit is quite small though. Even an Intel Atom can competently manage a VM due to having VT-X instructions.
