If you currently are not experiencing issues it's generally not recommended to update BIOS

Er, BIOS updates these days can result in massively increased performance. I'd say that's an old fashioned way of going about it

If you have a BIOS update, you should probably do it, especially if you are on a newer platform. Of course, you can feel free to read the changelog and decide for yourself

Didn't pay attention to the 4 or 5 times in recent years where BIOS patches either straight up fixed critical issues and/or increased CPU performance by 5-10% on newer platforms, huh? That's just what you should have seen in the news.

It's far more common for BIOS updates to include microcode optimizations/OC tweaks than it used to thanks to increasingly complicated architectures. The whole industry flipped on your old logic years ago, buddy. Update your BIOS

This!

Always read the release notes, but BIOS updates primarily address compatibility issues with CPU, RAM, Storage, and other PCIe devices. Yes, standards exist, but it's the nuances between vendors that can cause issues; BIOS updates can resolve those corner cases. Also they address Windows 11 compatibility issues too if you have an older platform. And then there are security reasons to update the BIOS too.

You don't always have to jump to the latest version with each release, but do be mindful of the changes each release provides. If it's applicable to you, go ahead and update it. Recommend to at least bookmark the page so you can check up on it.

My BIOS version is 1807. Is it worth to update it to the newest version?

And what are my improvements? Thanks.

Yes.
