All I can say is that this is really a shame. The Vaio line used to be pretty good a few years back. This seems to be pretty much taking advantage of people who want something that looks good and don't know anything about computers. How disappointed they will be.

Vaio just became its own company, but Sony still has a stake in it.

The name comes from Video Audio Input Output,  and in the ads they used to say VAI-Oh

damn...thats a shame considering my vaio is still alive after five years and it was a custom e series, their products used to be fairly good quality and reliable as well. I thought the company was dead after sony said fuck it I really didn't think I'd see them come back...well I guess they won't haha

If you're paying $600 for a laptop with a CPU you can find in a $200 laptop, you're getting ripped off.

Also, those laptops are fugly enough to make my ThinkPad look like a fashion product. That two-tone color scheme looks horrible.
