Wow I don't think most PCs would survive to pass POST with it. Yeah I get what you mean by making an actually unusable and will kill your computer after an hour tier. Or maybe use T7 for that and bump "usable, but worst case scenario" units to six. Some food for thought.

 

That said making a Tier 8 would be funny. We could make it a PSU going on fire compilation.

i don't really feel that it would be fair for the T6 units if the T7s get bumped to T6, but just putting the LEPA in tier 7 would be too good for the unit. a tier 8(or absolute crap) tier would be perfect for it IMO, add in lots of logisys and other explosives and it'll be whole. I'd also feel like adding a short description to each tier would be good, otherwise you get jokers going "anything not tier 1-3 is crap" everywhere in the forum.

eventually everyone's gonna get so confused that they avoid EVGA altogether. i know i avoid be quiet PSUs for that reason

Like, their cheapest T1 option is $100 for 550W in the US (off the top of my head)

Did you say 7/11 because that is a convenience store that is so densely packed in the city that they have to vastly underpay their employees to stay afloat, which must be very similar with EVGA and the company's that make EVGAs psus?
