I have a budget of 45k philippine pesos/900usd and I already stretched it to 55k php/1100usd. Well, the one that was in stock here is that Silverstone Strider Plus and idk when the HG one will be in stock as well as how much the price will change by then.

Then you gotta drop something else man. You're spending too much on the core hardware to care too little about your PSU.

 

Get a 1400, a 1060 3GB, and see if you have the money for a Hydro G.

You haven't seen many uATX cases then.  :D

 

In my experience, MOST of the uATX cases I have seen use SFX.  

 

That's why when you go to Newegg for Power Supplies and filter by "MicroATX", the results are all SFX PSUs.  :D

Well I've only seen like 2 OEM cases (which to be fair did use smaller form factor PSUs) but out of the 25+ non-OEM micro-ATX cases I've seen (IRL), I'm pretty sure all of them used ATX PSUs. Probably should have thought about OEM cases but I forgot :P

DIY cases are optimized for sell through volume.  Not maximizing space or focusing on power density.  That's why it took 10 years for Corsair to introduce an SFX PSU. Because without also selling the case for it to go into (Bulldog), the fear was that sales quantities would not be high enough.  The flip side is true of case manufacturers that don't also sell PSUs.  If they make their case require an SFX PSU, which there are limited selection of decent quality ones, then you limit your sales.

If you can find a better option in the Philippines market, for the same price, I would love to see it.

 

It might not be as good anymore in the big markets where every latest thing is available immediately, but I will still forever count it as a non-bad PSU.
