have you tried more voltage?

I loaded up a previous BIOS snapshot of my voltages, there's just no way I'm going to risk throwing more at it for a Cinebench result :wacko: My loop is performing admirably but I don't have an ES 5960X to burn like most of the OC reviews currently out there where they threw 2.0v VCCIN and 1.38v core. I've yet to hit 80C on any bench at 1.31v core/1.85v VCCIN. I may make another attempt at topping myself for a 4.5Ghz run but it's going to take a BIOS update or Cinebench release to make me go there. The 1.36v run was an orifice puckering experience :o

OSX and Windows 8.1 scores...

 

Can't overclock my 3770K higher than 3.9GHz.. anything over that gives me a black screen no matter what settings i try.. even the MSI OC Genie thing :P

i'll take the best of both :)

...and yeah... CPU voltage stays the same even if I change it on BIOS... this means I'm ocing without extra voltage... anyway... I'm using 2003 bc of the time... here it is at 2,64 GHz

 

 

At stock it scored something like 3800-3900

I'm reaching ever closer to beating the Core 2 single core record, currently 4.5ghz / 1.35625v (~1.31v when under load). :)

1.3-1.35v is ok for an ivy bridge. the highest 3570K's would be using ~1.5v

The thing im concerned about is my board seems to have huge Vdroop, whats the normal value there?

But yeah speaking of voltage, i wasn't planning on going into the 1.35+ range at all, seeing as im not planning on getting a new CPU for a long time, i just tried launching 4.8 at 1.30v and that very much isn't happening so im going to see what the best i can do at that v is

you might want to try oc your ram to 1866mhz as well if you can. that will get you a few more points.

its actually at 1800, and its 1600 stock, but my motherboard likes to run it at 1333

Still the fourth fastest 3570K when it comes to R15. Can't keep 5GHz stable enough to run R15 sadly. Doing RAM OC right now. 2133MHz 10-10-10-28 1.45V on them Samsung sticks along with 4.7GHz quad gives me 662cb. Going to try and get higher than that today.
