Cores 2 & 3 where always hot for my chip. Going to have to seek out a die shot on why this is.

this might be the limit....i can boot at 5.1Ghz, but cinebench gives an error, system doesnt crash though....any idea why i get the error?

cinebench can error if it's unstable, doesn't always bsod though.

 

you're above my 4690k score... damn I know what I'm doing when I get home :P

You were using a 2600K though. So no surprise it scored high.

i still need to know the clock speeds for your r15 run on the pentiium and the 3570K  :)

Elpida memory on the 760 :(

 

Heard it isn't the greatest when it comes to GPU memory OC. 

 

I only did +100 on mem OC in EVGA PrecisionX 16 for my OC. Not sure how much I could, havent really messed with it much honestly. Just got my system back up and running a few days ago after bricking my board from the now infamous m-flash bios update.

im sure I could probably get better scores if I took the time to 100% tweak everything, like my ram is running stock XMP profile 9-9-9-9-24, could probably tweak it down to a CL8, but not going to. intel extreme stress test for 15m and im stable as is so im happy.

You could try 1866MHz with a slight voltage adjustment. I still have my Vengeance kit and got them to 2133 11-11-11-28 1.6V i think.

I could, but everywhere I read that once you start getting such high CPU OC'd, then the actual optimal RAM is 1600, anything beyond that is really not utilized correctly. I will see if I can find that and link it for you to reference it. 

 

EDIT: Cant seem to find it after searching for the past 20 min.

i have tried many times. 98/104 people think it should be pinned, apparently none of those 98 people are mods :(

 

if it gets an error it is unstable. adjusting the ram could help. you can try using a bit of base clock instead of just the multiplier as well, if you aren't already. try 102 bclk with a 50 multiplier.
