i beg to differ ppl have had there chips over 1.55 on haswell and there still ticking and ive had this oc since its been released give or take a couple days for shipping runs very strong and cool  my games with high loads never go over 40c and rendering videos never goes over 70c only extreme test makes it peak 80 and 85 on one core.

1.55v for a quick cinebench or 1.55v for 24/7?

my 2600k was at 1.64v and still works, but no way in hell would I run that :P

i run my pentium G3258 at 1.4v constant without voltage drop because it can't get over 60c with a thermalright silver arrow on it. i wouldn't recommend it for normal use but i don't use mine that much..

I never killed any DC chips :)

1.45V or less is fine for 24\7 usage with regards to Haswell chips

my 4770k has lasted 18 mths at 1.475V

1.8V or more and you may as well prepare the eulogy.

Ok,last time asking about thermal compount for delidding purposes.Found the Gelid GC-extreme and the competitor is the IC-diamond.

I'm leaning towards(toward?) the gelid extreme,yay or nay? :)

Ofc i wanted the coollaboratory liquid ultra or indigo extreme but both are nowhere to be found.

avoid ic diamond it will scratch the die. not sure about the gelid stuff.

I'd use mx-4 to be honest, tried and true.
