Good to see that new board is helping push that memory.  Any bandwidth tests on AIDA64?

I can do one tonight maybe, it's probably really good :]

i could barely do 3705 mhz fully tight 12-12-12-28 1T 220 TRFC at 1.95v, I could do 4000 12-12-12-28 2T at 1.95v, but not with tight timings on second/third timings.

on MOCF I can do near 4100 mhz tight 12-12-12-28 1T 240 TRFC at same volts.

8.5. At a 460MHz FSB my P5Q Deluxe would be further from shitting itself than with my C0 stepping Xeon.

C0 sucks :P

Pushing quads > 500 is a tall order for most things. You're better off with a 9.5X or similar multi.

I know...but those particular Xeons are E0 stepping only, so they just like my Xeon E8500 should have a low VID (which was awesome until I killed the C2D)

New mediocre E0 is still better than current mediocre C0.

But are they binned higher then the server grade chips?

the multi is locked to 8.5 so they are completely useless for the price.

I suppose......still should be fun to overclock (and TBH, its nice having the best chip for a platform even if it isn't the best for overclocking). Also, not many people on HWBOT have one. Same as my Phenom II N970, which racked up more points than my i7 4790K at 4.8GHz, far more.

That's because you get 2 Pts for getting first place with hardware no-one has. You get 0.1 pts for getting 993/1000th with hardware everyone has :P

Example:

Ha!

Here ya go.  Sorry it took so long, but I had to look at the manual to figure out how to run a CPU and memory at stock settings.  I've never done that before and I didn't even know that my motherboard had that feature.  What will Asus think of next?  :D

Look at you slayin' quad channel.
