is that ram even running xmp? :P

nop. Too lazy to use the XMP of it.

My FX system is just running temporarily while i wait to get my FM2+ board back/new one from RMA. PCIe slot of my FM2+ board died, killed my HD 7950 (old backup GPU)...

Usually i use Kingston Savage 2400MHz CL11 kit... the kit in use here is a Crucial Tactical Tracer 1600MHz CL8 (XMP) or CL11 JEDEC

Didn't think so. Looked like the JEDEC 1600C11 standard timing setup :P

mhm, the coolest part is that the cooler that is currently cooling my FX 8320, is a Noctua NH-D9l 92mm cooler with two fans... and its not thermal throttling....

I ran mine with stock cooler 1.325V/4.3GHz. past that it only ever went on subzero :P

I ran the tests 2 times each, once with standard cooling, once with the "turbo fan" button on. Seemed to do a little better with it on so I posted these. Keep in mind it's a laptop.

Try to do 5GHz on them using nothing more than air cooling ;)
Everything has it's weaknesses :P

Can't argue with performance difference tho :)

FYI : Power Draw "from the wall" was peaking at 480W (I'm using OCZ ZS750 PSU).

PS. I don't think a stock clocked Core 2 Duo E6600 can beat my 5GHz multi score...

I messed up my first post a while back, I've redone it. But I have Intel Speedstep on, so Cpu won't stay at speed, I'll use HWMonitor to at least show that it's hitting the speed I claim.

i7 5820k @ 4.0Ghz

32GB DDR4 2400Mhz

MSI GTX 980 (Stock)

Windows 10

Cpu: 1159 (Usually I hit 1175...)

Gpu: 149.77

Beware the irrational, however seductive. Shun the ‘transcendent’ and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself. Distrust compassion; prefer dignity for yourself and others. Don’t be afraid to be thought arrogant or selfish. Picture all experts as if they were mammals. Never be a spectator of unfairness or stupidity. Seek out argument and disputation for their own sake; the grave will supply plenty of time for silence. Suspect your own motives, and all excuses. Do not live for others any more than you would expect others to live for you.

You have Windows XP Media Center.....and a Pentium 4 Northwood that is slower than some found in laptops (and slower than a 2.2GHz Pentium M).

Its actually freshly installed XP Pro SP3 :)

Found that rig (my first build) in basement today and decided to overhaul it. I spent like 30 min on removing 15 years old thermal paste from CPU. It works well, you can watch youtube at 480p. Will see how it works with SSD when I get IDE to SATA connector next week ;)

I was about to delid that CPU and mount massive Be Quiet cooler but crappy bios doesnt have voltage settings, so...
