you should really go with the giga soc champion. what you going to use 128gb of ram for? 

After I get all my benching done I'm gonna be doing alot of game server hosting for friends and CAD Work out the ass because I fell way behind on my CAD work.

If I do go SOC Champion I'll be gabbing that 3400MHz Orange kit of Dom Platinum and saying fuck it and turn my current system into the workstation.

I would be dedicating at least 16-24GB of RAM to each server. Generally 2-3 are run 24/7 on my desktop with at least 2GB dedicated to it and they are always getting can't keep up errors cause they are maxing the ram available to the server

Meh I can settle for the SOC Champion for now and get a 16GB 3000MHz kit with the 5960x and if I start running into major issues I'll just slap a 32GB Kit in it or a 64GB 16GBx4 kit in it when they drop.

well 8 pack says its better and you will want the best for multi cards and sub 0 benching.

Just AMD issues? I've got my P5Q Deluxe refusing point blank to run my Pentium 4 631 at a FSB above 300MHz. And with my first Pentium E6500K (they one I only did a stock run on-no 1.7V thrashing) it only posts at 12x333MHz, anything higher no matter what tweaks I do just don't have any affect. And my Xeon X5450 still hits a FSB speed of 400MHz semi stable (I think the motherboard has something really wrong with it).
