New AMD RX 480 leaks- shows OC results in firestrike ultra

Phoenix721

Found this image today, shows an overclocked RX 480 and various test results. To be fair, I don't think that anyone will overclock their card to 3.2 GHZ (except for LN2) and also, I don't really think that at 1400 MHZ it will beat the fury x. But here it is, you can judge for yourselves.

I doubt this is true. 3.2 GHZ seems way too damn extreme.

30% OC, 28% scaling, on 4K with a 256bit memory bus. Doesn't strike you as fake?

Atleast have some technical filter when posting stuff.

Please, don't post every fake graph as "news". I mean, the original graph got debunked and this is next level of bullshitery.

The overclocked card is running at 1400MHz, where've you got 3.2 from? At 3.2GHz an RX 480 would easily be faster than a 1080.

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

The first one is overclocked at 3.2 and it IS -apparently- faster than the 1080.

as much I would like for this card to be that fast, I cant see this happening thats 250% increase in clockspeed, even with LN2 it really far far fetched.

If we're to trust some sites, 480 can OC to 1600 MHz. But really, 3.2 GHz?

Is your source C:\Users\Phoenix721\Documents\RX480 Leaks?:P

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

For this to be considered "news", doesn't there have to be a source link somewhere? Even reverse image searching fails to yield this same picture. Typing in "RX 480" on google, and clicking the news tab, also fails to bring up any indication of this graph.

If your intent was to make a joke, then you should probably post it elsewhere. Posting it in the news section is only going to make people believe it is true.
