Is AMD now officially dead?

On the new RX 480 reveal on the boxes it only says "Radeon" and not "AMD Radeon"
Does this mean AMD is out of business?

Nope. They just don't have to put it on every box. If you look at the PCI-E slots, it says AMD on it.

So naahhh they're not out of business. It would be quite sad if that happened though, I'm pretty sure some company would buy them out.

Nope, I doubt AMD and ATI/Radeon would become completely different companies again . AMD created the Radeon group and although Raja seems to wanna split, ain't happening (or if it does happen, AMD will always be the parent company).

This is the reference cooler, not the AF ones.

This is the reference design. The aftermarket designs will all be unique. For example, this is the Sapphire aftermarket design.

Yea, I like the design, just not the color choice. Also no random blue out of nowhere would have made it more bearable.

Just the Vapor X. Tri-X and the original Nitros had no blue AFAIK. Their Dual-X didn't have blue either. If they were going to bring back the Vapor X, cool. But it's just a random blue stripe in between silver and black, like wtf.
