French startup working on the "office of the future"

Hi,

 

A French startup named Leet Design is working on what they call "connected furniture". This is a kind of bubble that would allow people to have more privacy in open space work environments. See here : http://www.leet-design.com/

This "bubble" should have a 23" touch screen running Android, and I saw in an interview of the founder that it should allow you to connect your laptop or your smartphone and get your work done. You can see here that there should a dock for your laptop or your console (for gaming at work^^).

I'm not sure how all this is supposed to work because Android is not suitable at all for productivity work, unless they develop a custom ROM or something like RemixOS. I like the concept though. What do you think?

So they are very responsive on Twitter as well. It should be an All in One running Android, but with multiple input sources. So you could easily plug in your laptop and use the included mouse and keyboard.

Sorry to say, but my own computer desk an setup is the office of the future.

 

No amount of fanciness can make me return to a boring 9-5 job.  I got triple 27" 2560x1440p displays, high-back DXracer chair, my own bathroom which is CLEAN, and I never have to wait for it.

 

Work from home for life!
